We have been in a two day meeting. We were learning how to help people come to solutions with their issues. We learned skills that will empower people as we ask “powerful questions.” It has been a know fact that few people desire for someone else to give them answers to their issues.
Because most of the people were on Church Staffs when we paired off to practice I learned I’d rather listen than to discuss anything about myself. I also discovered that I could ask enough questions that it brought up front thinking that caused one pastor to give up some hurt feelings from his church body as he is preparing to move to another church.
God is Good! I am excited to say that ultimately the Bible can coach us as well as just meditating and praying. I believe we all must be purposeful and empowered each day. I now have only 16 hours of coaching but will gladly take more classes that will enable me to move forward so that I can help others and myself.
How are you doing? What is preventing you from reaching your goals? Is God directing you to a new task? How do you think you are going to reach your goal? What next?
Running toward the Goal……
Philippians 3:12-13 “I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don’t feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for what is ahead.”
