Ever ask yourself, “who am I?” There are times of introspection when this is a very purposeful question to ask. Sometimes such questions give us great contemplation and examination as to what on earth am I here for! I believe as we face God on a daily basis that we must be willing to allow Him priority so that He can strengthen us for the daily tasks that He already knows is going to happen in our routines.
Well, who are you and what are your life’s goals? We attended a Chick-fil-A leadership meeting in Atlanta. What you may not know is that they are a “faith-based” company who is closed on Sundays merely to honor the Sabbath and to worship God. In fact the man who led our group prayed before and after our meeting as well, he read the Bible to encourage us.
A portion of the time was spent as a team. We often had to come up with a core vision statement based on a statement that was proposed. On one occasion there were about 125 words with brief definition to the side. We had to put a,b, or c by each one. A was the mark of most importance to us. Then we had to choose the top 5 of the A’s to share a little glimpse of our important stances on life. It was most enjoyable, and I was not surprised by the outcome of my top five. If you are asking “who am I” perhaps it is time to read scripture, pray and then find some type of resource that will help you re-visit who you are. Even a spiritual gift test will aid in such introspection. If God is leading you down a certain pathway, do you not believe He will equip you to accomplish that which He deems important. It is He who chooses and instructs us in the ways we should go.

teach me your paths;
5 guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
