My life will now be even more at peace. Because when the storms come- the winds blow I know exactly how to rise above the storms with the Lord and soar as an eagle. Literally the trials of life are great, some more painful than others…but if we will allow God to renew our strength and allow Him to carry us – then indeed it will be like the eagle, we will remain in the arms of Christ- and beloved–that is a place far above anything I can imagine.Isaiah 40:30-31
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,and young men stumble and fall;31 but those who hope in the LORDwill renew their strength.They will soar on wings like eagles;they will run and not grow weary,they will walk and not be faint.
Yesterday I was reading and the writer was discussing the topic of prayer. Then an interesting moment for me came when the discussion included how eagles fly. It said that eagles can discern more quickly than other animals that a storm is coming. In fact eagles take flight above the storm. They allow the winds to take them up higher and higher above the storm and they hover above the storm. WOW I said to God, I get it! Do you love those moments when you finally get the message He desires. The “Oh Yeah Moment!” Well it struck me and I will forever remain steadfast on the words of God in Isaiah. Read them below.
