Recently we have been introduced to Dodo! She is a vivacious relative who we have not know. Our fellowship with DoDo was awesome and she is so motivated and driven by life! She was a music major in college and is immersed and involved in life. At 68 she is lively and just been named, “Distinguished Woman” of her community. Apart from all of “who” she is, she was a blood relative of Mitch and our daughter. In fact the conversation was rich in heritage and there was a common bond that existed! The other bond that existed was a bond in Christ. We thank God for meeting a relative but most of all the common bond of Christ united us together and we were all seemed to be as one!How are you doing? Do you know what I am talking about when I say when we meet others who we bond with because of the Spirit of Christ?Life if full of surprises! I hope you’ll meet someone like Dodo! You’ll be blessed! The surprise of today was when Dodo took brownies and bread to our daughter at work to encourage her day at work! How blessed to be surprised by the goodness of others!Ephesians 4:2-4 describes our acquaintance… “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit–just as we are called to be one hope when you were called…..”
