This morning I was doing a little research on life in Christ. I happened upon the following quote which is a reflection of a continued and determined action:Charles Spurgeon said……. “By perseverance the snail made it to the ark.”How’s life for you? I know here in the TN there are lots of disappointing heartaches after the storms dumped 12 to 15 inches of rain. Peoples homes are flooded, many homes are totally lost to the dirty flood waters. But perseverance is necessary. We must not give up even if life seems to be caving in on us. We go through varying trials, and if we stop, take a deep breath, fall to our knees with deep and great perseverance- when we stand- God’s Spirit will lift us and carry us through “the impossibles” of this world. Most often we do not have answers or solutions, but the Bible has both! If we persevere and trust God- He will keep us on a steady path with a determined mindset. Remember the greatest wisdom- comes from God!
James 1:3-5 ….. “because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”
