Every day I get up and think, “what is this day going to be like?” Most days I have no scheduled meetings or appointments other than making sure I pray and meditate on God’s word. Of course that is a priority. That does not mean I have nothing to do. It simply means besides keeping a house in order, mowing the lawn, buying the groceries–cooking- laundry– I keep my focus on pleasing God in all that I do. My aim is simply based on Ephesians 5:9…” for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth, and find out what pleases the Lord.” The patterns of our lives reflects our ultimate goals. Are you pleasing GOD today? It is my prayer that society will stop being selfish and to broaden its thinking– ultimately to please God! So that the impact of the world will be more “pleasing to God.”
