Expect Great Things!

Psalm 5:2 & 32 Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. 3 In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. What are you expecting today? Do you wait on God to answer your prayers? God is a Great God and we must trust, believe and live with great expectations as we bow before God. He is Power, He is our Deliverer and He is the King of Kings.Jessica was expecting her first baby. Everything was going great until she entered into month 7. She began to get high blood pressure and her baby began to show signs of stress. The doctors had no choice except to take the baby early so that Jessica could be out of danger herself. As the family gathered to pray– Jessica’s grandmother who is full of faith – prays- and asks God with great expectations to be the Deliverer of this tiny premature baby and to Rescue her granddaughter from toxic shock. Because Jessica’s grandmother had “great expectations” in God she knew whatever unfolded over the next few moments that God would be in control. The outcome was a 2 pound baby girl that was born at 7 months. Baby was taken to ICU where premature babies are cared for. God took care of mother and child. In fact baby girl went home a month early because she was so strong and vibrant. The nurses said they had not ever witnessed such a strong premature baby that made such steady progress.  What are you expecting today? Nothing apart from God compares to the Greatness of God. Expect Great Things!
