What are negative vibes? You can feel them out in the world. People just do not speak words that are positive. Even in the church we find ourselves making our opinions known. Not always in a positive way. I am tired of negative people who send out negative vibes. Negative Vibes to me are recognizing negatives, a feeling of “let me get away from this person.” Ever felt that? Ever been guilty of voicing loudly negatives?Well in Psalms 64 David asks God to help and protect Him. David is obviously tired of peoples judgments and negative opinions. He desires to be protected from the sharp tongues of the people in his life. I am supposing some of the words that are being used against him are people who do not even know him personally. The complaints and negative words are possibly because of something someone else said and people are feeding off a small tidbit, thus making life difficult for David. Psalm 64:1-3 1 Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint;protect my life from the threat of the enemy. 2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,from that noisy crowd of evildoers.3 They sharpen their tongues like swordsand aim their words like deadly arrows.Today, pray asking God to help you think before you speak. Realistically, negative people are not people I desire to be around. How about you? You opinion matters but how are you voicing it?
