Are You Hopeful?

Psalm 25:20-22

20 “Guard my life and rescue me;  let me not be put to shame,  for I take refuge in you.  21 May integrity and uprightness protect me,
because my hope is in you.”

After the earthquakes in different parts of the world people were hopeful that they would see friends and family. They hoped that they would be reunited quickly. But as hours, days and a week passed hope was no more. The worst was unfolding. Tears, mass graves and bitterness begins to take hold of hopeless people. There is an overflow of emotion that sinks people into a low state of mind.

But- on the other side of this are people who have been rescued after a week on the most recent earthquake. There are revealing stories of faith. One woman was on trapped on her knees for several days- yet she said her faith kept her hopeful.

How are you doing today? Do you have hope? Hope is greater if you know the God who created the universe. Some curse at this statement but God is the GOD of the universe and He exsists and loves everyone.

It is difficult to see human suffering but I am hopeful simply because by God’s hand life and death occur. Reread the scriptures above and remain hopeful.
