Today it finally came…that insurance card. It has taken Mitch a full year to get his health insurance for his new job. Because it is not a group insurance and because he has a problem or two- he kept getting denied- many time for no reason! All pre-existing conditions had been solved but the insurance writers would not read all the fine print to see all doctors cleared the pre-existing conditions.Time to celebrate! He now carries a new health insurance card. The good news is the last day the cobra ran out- he got accepted. I think Mitch felt a long year of rejection when it came getting the thumbs up from the insurance company.
So we rejoice today that “the card was in the mail.”Have you had trouble getting covered for health care? It has been a first for us to go through such winding rules and regulations. It has been very frustrating. In the end, God answered prayer and we are so grateful. God seems to always provide for those who wait on Him and yes we have had a year of fasting and prayer.

Psalm 27:13-14
“I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORDin the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.”
