Choose Wisely

I keep getting emails about Christmas sales, and how I can buy gifts with discount coupons. All those enticing ads are tormenting. I am a natural giver but this year I am attempting to set my eyes on a few needs and not on the sales that make us want to buy more and more items we don’t need and people really don’t want to receive.

The good news is that there will always be sales! Always…so don’t spend all your money or over-spend on Christmas this year. Don’t even use those credit cards…you will pay later. It is best to choose wisely.

How about the gift of love? How about giving the gospel message…a free eternal gift. How about even giving time to lonely people? Just explain to your family that this year- during an economic struggle that Christmas may be different this year but just as special.

Choose Wisely and Rejoice in the Lord!

Philippians 4:4-5

4- Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

5- Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
