You Don’t Have To Be Afraid!

Deuteronomy 31:5-7

5- The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you.

6- Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Those are two wonderful verses! You don’t have to be afraid! What is going on in life today? What is God saying to you?

I know last week when our daughter kept saying, “I feel so sick; something is wrong,” that I paused immediately- because I was slightly afraid. I could not bare the agony of her being away at college feeling sick. I also know that I was not up to flying there to navigate a city and it’s medical clinics to get our daughter medical attention. What was best for all of us was to have her fly home and see my Internist which lives 5 minutes away from home.

Thus, she found airline tickets, a good flight home and two days later she was at the clinic- and sleeping in her own bed, and mom was attending to her while she is feeling bad. At first look there was a bad ear infection and an x ray showed inflamed bronchial tubes going into her lungs. She had had headaches and overall feeling of not being healthy. Of course blood work was done of all types and we are not yet informed about those results. She is still not feeling well even after a few days of antibiotics and TLC!

We will be courageous! We will depend on God to get her out of this time of ill health and feeling week. We will not be afraid!

We pray for pardon with a medical note from the doctor to the college she attends. It is her senior year so we as asking for grace that she get to finish the semester without penalty!

Well- we will let you know what God does! But we thank God for provision to get her home, thankful for a great doctor close to home, thank God we have a place called home she can come to for rest and healing!

How’s it going for you? Any trials or tests in your face? Do not be afraid! Trust God t0 walk you all the way through every detail.

How can we pray for you?
