The Past Few Days!

It has been a few days since I have blogged. Sorry for all you who expected to find our blog in your inboxes– on your computer.

I have had the sinus infection that has affected my wanting to do anything extra like blog. Also I carry burdens for friends, family and that has taken my energies to prayer.

I did start a Bible study with Donna Gaines from Bellevue Baptist Church here in the Memphis area. She is an awesome teacher. I am encouraged by her first delivery of God’s word that is taking us from sin nature to the righteousness of God in Romans. So I will be deeply involved in studying Romans this next eight weeks.

Mitch had a great trip out West! He returned home on the 13th after being away 12 days on an adventure with his dad, driving cross country getting him safely across the US to Spokane, WA. where Mitch’s younger brother lives.

Yesterday was Mitch’s birthday and we celebrated that together! No chocolate cake but there was not lack of good intentional fellowship! He is a great husband and father! I am blessed he is so gifted by God to lead.

And leading he is doing! Mitch was blessed to see 900 people trained in various areas of church work before he left for Spokane. 900 people trained to be better leaders! God’s plan is unfolding here in his new work.

I am keeping my head above water and very busy most days. I do not know how so many woman work full-time jobs and work full-time at home. I suppose they are more energetic and better administrators with their time! BUT God has given me strength to mow the lawn twice a week, keep a nice home up inside, and be the cheerleader and coach for my family as well as given me so much to pray for- which takes up time.

Well praising God and so glad to catch up with you today. Please let us know what you are doing and what you are doing! Let us also hear from you if you have any prayer requests. If you have sent us your prayer request let us know if God has answered your requests! Or let us know if you are still looking for jobs-which has been the most topics that we are asked to pray for.

God’s blessings to you and keep the scripture close to your heart today!

 Psalms 1: 1-6

1- Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers. 2- But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

3- He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

4- Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.

5- Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6- For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

May God bless and Keep you today!
