 Jeremiah 16
19- O LORD, my strength and my fortress,
my refuge in time of distress,
to you the nations will come
from the ends of the earth and say,
“Our fathers possessed nothing but false gods,
worthless idols that did them no good.
20 Do men make their own gods?
Yes, but they are not gods!”
21- “Therefore I will teach them—
this time I will teach them
my power and might.
Then they will know
that my name is the LORD.I have thought about the time in scripture when the demons were cast into the swine and how they went crazy running. The news is filled with “swine flu.” I wonder if God is telling us once again to “beware” of demons and to live like never before and to ask for His protection. On an early news show this morning a women who could barely talk, had a tube in her neck had been in a comma because of the “swine flu.” She was discussing the seriousness of this flu virus.
Then I read the headline news and again a story about “swine flu.” This time the news writer was letting us know that swine flu had now crossed over into “turkeys.” Now the swine/bird flu exists.
Are we to be afraid? Not if we follow closely after Christ. The Bible tells us to follow after Christ. Therefore if we hold on to the hem of His garment through prayer are we not capable of withstanding whatever comes our way? Scripture also tells us that our days are numbered and that He even knows the number of hairs on our heads. Scripture also tells us that He cares for even the tiny little sparrow.
Today, ask God to lead you and guide you! Some say it is the end times others say we are being tested and tried. Almost like a refiners fire! In the end we must let our yes be yes and our no be no. With new strains of HIV and swine/bird flu many people will suffer and many people will die!
Take the natural suggested precautions and leave the rest up to our Holy God! He is the Commander of all things. He is the Healer! He can restore nations of people! Watch and Pray and set your mind on things above and not things of the earth! Call on the Name of the Lord!

That was so comforting! In the times we are living we can get all fearful about the trials and tribulations of the day’s,
It is comforting to remind ourselves of, “WHO IS IN CHARGE ANYWAY”! I am happy to say, ” I believe in Jesus Christ and His undieing Love for me and all His Children”.
As we were praying about my grandaughter and the new life living within her, I saw the Hand of God The Father reach into her womb and put His Hand around that new baby…………..as my grandaughter was so afraid that she would lose the new baby that was growing inside her. I just ask God for Him to protect the new baby and saw His Hand reach under that new life and hold our new grandchild in the palm of His Hand. I was so thrilled as a grandmother that God let me see that precious miracle of His answer to prayer with my best friend and prayer warrior. Praise His Holy Name. Jesus, name above all names, and soon Coming King!
