The Prayer of Faith
James 5:13-14
13- ‘Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14- Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.”
When our children were little they sang all the time! We’d go on a trip, they sang in the back seat of the car. We’d go grocery shopping our daughter would sing, “Jesus Loves me to the top of her lungs.” Our kids would go out into the playroom, they’d sing a happy tune, even outside on the swing set, we’d hear a faint little happy tune!
Are you singing songs of praise? Try it today! One of my favorite praise songs is “I sing praises to your name!” I play that tune almost daily. It lifts my spirit.
