3 of Jesus’ closest earthly friends were from the same family:
- Martha – the working one
- Mary – the worshipping one
- Lazarus – the weak one
Each of these siblings contributed in their own unique way. Martha, was probably the oldest. She held the family together and cooked meals for Jesus — talk about a dinner guest! Mary, sat at the feet of Jesus at least twice. Her extravant sacrifice remains a universal model for worship. And Lazarus is his death experienced Christ’s resurrection power like no one else. Lazarus became the recipient of one of Christ’s most awesome miracles. This family in their rich diversity is still being talked about today. Your family too has members unique and wonderful. Celebrate your differences and realize that Christ works through every type of personality. There is most certainly hope for your family!!!
