Psalm 9:4-6
4- Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;
5- make music to the LORD with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of singing,
6- with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn—
shout for joy before the LORD, the King.
Reading Psalm 98 is exciting. Not only are we to shout for joy unto the Lord and rejoice in His power and majesty we aer also to understand that God will judge all! If you keep reading this Psalm you will note that He is the judge and He will judge all men with His equity. Meaning God is a just God and judges with no favor.
The only way we can shout for joy in our relationship with God is to line up with Him in obedience and joy! He will direct our path.
If you life stays on the path of frustration and upset, then today is a great time to ask God to lead you as well as forgive you for judging people, for every wrong mindset! Then walk out in victory because God is in control once again and then “shout for Joy!”
Matthew Henry said….”The joy of the Lord will arm us against the assaults of our spiritual enemies and put our mouths out of taste for those pleasures with which the tempter baits his hooks.”
