Titus 1:15-16
15- To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16- They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.”
Riding the fence simply does not work where God is concerned. In fact I see very fine people do very corrupt things. They are corrupt because they go against what scripture tells us to do.
Are your actions pure? or corrupt? Are you obedient or detestable?
It is time to walk the walk and talk the talk and to stop riding the fence.
You may ask why should I devote myself to purity and obedience? Read this verse and find out you can find rest with God.
Hebrews 4:3
Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, “So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”
Jim Elliot’s wisdom said to….. “Always seek peace between your heart and God, but in this world, always be careful to remain ever-restless, never satisfied, and always abounding in the work of the Lord.”
