On this cloudy afternoon it finally came…”rain showers.” As the rain poured down I exclaimed to Mitch, “oh look, showers of blessings; that must be how God pours showers of blessings down upon us!”
Of course spiritually speaking God “reigns” and He also blesses us!
Psalm 68:8-10
8- the earth shook,
the heavens poured down rain,
before God, the One of Sinai,
before God, the God of Israel.
9- You gave abundant showers, O God;
you refreshed your weary inheritance.
10- Your people settled in it,
and from your bounty, O God, you provided for the poor.
How is God raining “showers of blessings upon you?” Thank God for how he blesses you personally! Watch and Pray! Be aware of God’s presence in your life.
Augustine said…..”A man may lose the good things of this life against his will; but if he loses the eternal blessings, he does so with his own consent.”
