The “Can Do” Attitude

Philippians 4:13

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

I heard a pastor read this verse one day and he said…”I want to have a can do mindset!” He went on to say..”Nothing apart from Christ matters!” Well I must say that little “can do”  part of the verse has many times strengthened me and has given me courage where nothing else nor anyone else apart from Christ could give me courage to face some hard days.

Well, today as you march to church; try the “can do” attitude! Recite that simple yet deep and broad text for the faith walk in Christ! Imagine the psychology behind that “can do” phrase. Your first psychologist to turn to is Christ, your second Christ and the third helper; Christ!

It is my prayer that in every illness or suffering, every trial and every negative thought that Christ will fill you up with the “can do” hope that reaches from the holiest place-the Throne of Christ! When the world says you can’t, when the Dr. says, you can’t, when your kids tell you-you can’t, when the church tells you, you can’t– Just remember IF and When it is God’s will for you and plan to step out in faith…
