David’s last words were very wise to men concerning righteousness. Read the following verses asking yourself if you are in authority over men- are you leading in righteousness?
Some people only love position and like to rule over others. God wants rulers over men to rule according to scripture and with great understanding of “who” God is.
Verse 4 is a gentle reminder of how we must walk and talk…re-read that verse praying and asking God to make you a great leader! Take the challenges of this scripture and see what changes God wants you to make as you lead others!
2 Samuel 23:3&4
3 The God of Israel spoke,
the Rock of Israel said to me:
‘When one rules over men in righteousness,
when he rules in the fear of God,
4- he is like the light of morning at sunrise
on a cloudless morning,
like the brightness after rain
that brings the grass from the earth.’
