Acts of Kindness!

Colossians 3:11-13

“Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

I love to show kindness to people! I find great pleasure because of the love Christ has placed in my heart for others. When I am at a store, doctor’s office or any public place and if I see that I can assist someone, I will! It blesses my soul to open a door for an elderly lady or a mother who is pushing a stroller- I love to give words of kindness while I am humbly assisting people.

The world would be a greater place if for one calender day we could challenge people to show “kindness” to others. We must ask God to help us to think as He does. He simply has no favorites. He loves us all.

I do hope and pray you will think every day as you go along your journey that you will show acts of kindness.  Kindness that is meant to bless people but not to puff you up. Absolutely “no bragging rights to this kineness!”

Henry Drummond said…”I shall pass through this world but once. Any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”[taken from ChristianQuotes.org]
