Today I have been blessed! A dear friend of the past filled her email with very encouraging words. Mitch and I ministered in WA state and saw our friend come to Christ and be totally transformed! I think this was the grandest spiritual transformation I had ever witnessed!
Rosie wrote…”The last Beth Moore study we had, she asked a question about someone in your past that really influenced your life. I thought about Mitch and Myra. I told the girls that you were faithful to God’s direction and calling. Well, I sure am a grateful lady.”
Not only is it a blessing to receive words that encourage us but we must also encourage the people in our lives. How about you? Are you passing out encouraging notes or words to people in your life? It means a lot to give and receive encouragement.
Romans 15:3-5
3For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” 4For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
5May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus,
