Are you guarded by God? Is He the “One” you call upon to protect you and to guard over you? Are you too fearful or so fearful that you always need someone with you?
Celebrities walk around the LA and NYC streets with their bodyguards. Safety to them seems to be an issue. People become star-stuck by Hollywood stars and sometimes waste a lot of money and time stalking them — just so get a peek at them.
Life gets chaotic and even in Christian circles we elevate people into the “celebrity status.” Private jets, body guards, and private settings become their life outside of the platform where they speak. Sometimes I wonder how deep their faith is when prayer and faith in God is not enough to “guard them and cover them” away from danger!
Psalms 37:27-29
27 Turn from evil and do good;
then you will dwell in the land forever.
28 For the LORD loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
They will be protected forever,
but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off;
29 the righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it forever.
Just remember these verses and know God will protect His faithful ones forever! Relax and do not fear about what you think may come your way. Remember to put on the “full armor of God” stated in Ephesians 6 that is the protection from the things we do not even see. God is faithful — are you faithful to walk by faith and not by sight; to walk in the saftety of God’s protection? He guards and protects us!
