You Say Hello and I Say Goodbye!

Yesterday was a day of good-byes to people at Westwood Baptist Church! Mitch has been a bi-vocational pastor there for 4 years- What a group of loving and kind people! It is awesome the way God works in the family of God! We said good-bye yesterday, and Mitch said hello to his new workplace today! How awesome is God!

Romans 8:27-29… “And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.”

Yes, we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus! Keep moving forward, take up your cross and follow after Christ! Remember your focus is not controlling anything or anything- your purpose and progress depends on focusing on Christ!

Farewells are not always easy– but when we know God is in control then we accept His plans and move forward! And no matter what!

Take time today to pray and ask God to search your heart and mind. What does He say to you? Do you need to make changes?

Bible Teacher Kay Arthur wrote…. “The will of God for your life is simply that you submit yourself to Him each day and say, “Father, Your will for today is mine. Your pleasure for today is mine. Your work for today is mine. I trust You to be God. You lead me today and I will follow.”
