A.W. Tozer said, “God is not silent. It is the nature of God to speak. The second person of the Holy Trinity is called ‘The Word.’”
How can it be? “3-in-1” This morning as I poured bubble bath into the bath tub I noticed that the label said, 3-in-1! I have never noticed what the three things were they were advertising. I poured it into the tub, sat it on one corner and got into a nice hot bubble bath to soak. So there it was- 3-in-1! I knew I bought this product because it was bubble bath, but at last; I read the label. Not only is it bubble bath, but it is shampoo and body wash! Imagine I had never read past the label “bubble bath!”
How many people in the churches still are saying, I know the Bible says 3-in-1 but I don’t understand! A couple friends of mine cannot understand the Trinity of God! How can it be they ask over and over. I tell them just read your Bible and pray- soon God will reveal these wonderful identities.
Some of the most profound mysteries and powerful concepts in the Bible just require first faith, and a relationship with Christ. Eventually God reveals Himself to us and we begin to understand with spiritual wisdom, knowledge and understanding. What a journey as each day God reveals spiritual understanding! It is exciting. And we must indeed move forward and desire to understand spiritual truths.
Matthew 28:19… “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”
Galatians 4:6… “Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”
Oftentimes I can explain these biblical concepts, but I cannot always make people understand how God works. So today if you are one of those people who say, “I don’t get this 3-in-1 concept of God you are not alone.
It is a well-known idea that many products we buy, if we read the labels, are 3-in-1 products. So, read the labels and learn! In addition, take your Bible and read about God and you will see the awesomeness of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit!
