Kay Arthur, founder of Precept Ministries International wrote… “Snuggle in God’s arms. When you are hurting, when you feel lonely, left out. Let Him cradle you, comfort you, reassure you of His all-sufficient power and love.”
Sometimes we simply need reassurance! Find encouragement as you re-read this quote by Kay Arthur. She is absolutely correct! Isaiah 12:2 says, “Surely God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation.”
Whatever is coming your way; just trust in God. Take time to pray and meditate on God’s word. If you know someone who will pray for you or you can depend on then share your difficult times with a person who cares for other people. You may even want to send your prayer request to us via this blog. Oftentimes God uses other people to pray for us and to minister to us during difficult times.
In difficult times, ask God to assure you and to fill your soul with confidence that only He can give. My friend continues to go through difficult times. Often it is how she views daily life. She cannot get past the past mistakes to move forward toward a future of repentance and forgiveness. It takes hours upon hours of discussions and prayer for her but when life gets tough instead of being a part of Christian fellowship she withdraws herself into a lonely place and isolation. It is healthy to spend time alone! But balance is very important and we must maintain a healthy perspective.
What difficult time are you facing? Is your dependence upon the Lord? Take time out today to find peace and rest in Christ. Like Kay Arthur said, “snuggle in God’s arms.”
Remember God is your, “forever.” Even in the most difficult times!
Psalm 73: 26…”My flesh and my heart fails: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.”
