Mother Teresa said…”Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.”
Yesterday in the mail I received a beautiful card from a friend. In that card were beautiful poetic words. But the words my friend wrote to me were simply words of encouragement. She told me kind things that truly caused my day to be better. In fact the card arrived on the day that had been stressful.
God’s timing is perfect so if and when you are impressed to write words of encouragement just do it! I assure you that the person receiving that note will be encouraged. In fact it is amazing when God does lead because there is such blessings that come.
I am writing this blog after a busy day of painting inside our house. The walls need to be touched up and so much needs to be done to just give it a fresh touch. Throughout the day Mitch and I would pray and God continued to give us energy to accomplish more. So finally I am writing this.
It is my prayer that lonely people are encouraged, that we will all become aware of the need to extend our hands to others or to speak a simple word that will cause someone to feel better or to gain hope. I want to be an encourager– and I love to receive words of encouragement.
Ephesians 4:29…”Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
