A Day To Worship God

Mark 12:30... ” And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. ”

I am writing this blog after I attended church this morning. Feasting my eyes on scripture, focusing on a Mighty God truly is one aspect of worship. Certain songs at church also allowed me to tune into the holiness of God.

It is my prayer that each day we worship God with our heart, mind and soul. Worship creates a closeness to God and builds a bridge to Him. Take time today to find a place to worship God. In your home, your car, out in nature! Wherever God can reach your inner most heart and mind. Simply focus on God.

Andrew Murray wrote…. “Beware in your prayers, above everything else, of limiting God, not only by unbelief, but by fancying that you know what He can do. Expect unexpected things, ‘above all that we ask or think’. Each time, before you Intercede, be quiet first, and worship God in His glory. Think of what He can do, and how He delights to hear the prayers of His redeemed people. Think of your place and privilege in Christ, and expect great things!”
