It is vitally important that we be people of integrity. Why?
- Other people pay attention to our actions. People are watching our every move. Our leadership is directly related to our character.
- God also watches our behavior. He sees everything we do, including secret deeds. “If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear my prayer.” Our prayer life is directly related to our holiness.
- Our own conscience observes our conduct. Shame brings timidity but godliness brings confidence. “The righteous are bold as a lion.” Our courage is directly related to our goodness.
Live a good life today. Even when we think nobody is paying attention . . . still God, conscience, and others are watching!
