Celebrating Life!

Henry Drummond wrote…..”Is life not full of opportunities for learning love? Every man and woman every day has a thousand of them. The world is not a playground; it is a schoolroom. Life is not a holiday, but an education. And the one eternal lesson for us all is how better we can love.”

Today is our son’s 23rd Birthday and we are thanking God for the opportunities and life lessons that this young man has learned. We spent the weekend with our son to celebrate his birthday- we noted a young man who God has taught grace and mercy. Because of crohns since the age of 8 years, he has endured suffering. Life’s lessons came early but at age 4 years he already had eternal life, he made Jesus- Lord of his life.

Because of that young conversion experience and the strength of the Lord we have journeyed through deep times of pain with our son– and so grateful today he celebrates his 23rd birthday.

He is a college graduate from Union University and is a computer programmer for a large company. God has led our son through life with success! God’s mercy and grace certainly stays near our son!

What about you? Do you Celebrate Life today! Thank God for your life and the life of others. Spend time today in prayer and if you suffer or someone else suffers that you deeply love, we will boldly say, “we have know the power of prayer as our son is now 23 years old today!”

Spend time with God today through prayer and Bible study, and ask Him to show you how to celebrate life and endure the lessons He intends you to learn. Send your prayer requests and we will pray for you! God’s blessings to you today!

Psalm 86:2:……”Preserve my life, for I am godly and dedicated; O my God, save Your servant, for I trust in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, without fear or doubt]. “
