Loving as Christ

Andrew Murray wrote…”Our love to God is measured by our everyday fellowship with others and the love it displays.”

I am thankful to learn from the wisdom of the Christian great men who have walked with Christ. Andrew Murray’s quote aligns with scripture. 1John 4:21…”And we have this command from Him: the one who loves God must also love his brother.

We all need to re-think this challenge to love. Then we must pray about our relationship with God so that we can truly love people. If Christians could align their lives with scripture there would be less divorce, less broken friendships, less isolation and loneliness, and less fear of what others think.

Today accept this challenge to love as Christ. IF we love God we must love the people in church as well as the people who come into our lives every day.

Choose to love God and follow His command to love others!
