The Healing Power of God

Psalm 103:3-4 “Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion…”

Oswald Chambers wrote, “Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading.”

I Believe! Just three weeks ago at church as some of the ladies gathered around a lady to pray for her healing. It was at that point in time that God’s healing touched my hand. I actually went to church with a patch on my hand that had some ointment in it because my right hand was in pain because of the RA flaring in my system.

When the Pastor called the ladies to come pray with this lady who had lung difficulties I remember getting on my knees beside her chair and holding her hand. As we began to pray, several scriptures were spoken, and I said, “Lord, by your stripes we are healed” and with great faith. Another lady [who I had never heard pray] spoke in a very quiet voice with great faith. As she voiced her prayer I recall turning around to look up because she was standing behind me. I thought to myself, “ I just heard a prayer of great faith.”

As I knelt down beside the chair where the lady was sitting that we were praying for, God’s healing power touched my right hand. I have not had pain in that hand nor has a RA nodule that caused pressure in my hand ever resurfaced or caused any pain at all. I declare that God healed and took away the pain in my hand. I believed! I received!

Today if you need God’s healing touch in your physical body, ask Him! He is the Healer! I anticipate great and might works as God heals me!

Jeremiah 30:17 “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the LORD.”
