Loving Your Neighbor?

Have you noticed the uniqueness of everyone around you? Not one person lives an ordinary life. I cannot find one person with the same life story. C.S. Lewis emphasizes in his book, The Weight of Glory that our neighbor is the holiest thing we know because God made each of us for a purpose. I suppose Lewis meant this is true no matter how unique or odd a person may seem to us.

So in God’s eyes no one is just ordinary, He values and loves each of us the same. The second most important commandment after loving God is to love others.

If you really carry out the royal law prescribed in Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well.” James 2:8
